We understand that you are going through a difficult time, longing for the return of someone you care about. First, we want to assure you that God cares about your feelings and your situation. It's important to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).
We must also remember that God's will is paramount in all situations. While you have asked for this person to be brought back, it's crucial to pray for God's will to be done, not ours. As Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane, "Not my will, but yours, be done" (Luke 22:42, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is going through this difficult situation. We know that you are a God of miracles, and nothing is impossible for you. However, we pray that your will be done in this situation. If it is your will to bring this person back, we pray for that. If not, we pray for your comfort and peace to fill their heart. Help them to trust in you, even in this difficult time. Give them the strength to endure and to grow in their faith through this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also want to encourage you with the words of Paul in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working everything out for your good, even if it doesn't feel like it right now.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8, WEB).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
