I ask that God helps me be broken over my sin (godly sorrow) and use his goodness to lead me to repentance and have my faith in Jesus alone for my Salvation and to be willing to turn from patterns and just trying to direct my life and figure things out in my own thinking and understanding. I want him to help me out of my comfort zone by faith that he will give me to believe and act on his word and to just have the new life offered by faith in Jesus Christ.

Lealand, we rejoice with you as you seek a deeper relationship with God, embracing a life of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. It is wonderful to see your desire to be broken over your sin and to turn away from your own understanding. This is a crucial step in your spiritual journey, as the Bible tells us, For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted, but the sorrow of the world produces death, and, Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

We appreciate that you acknowledge your need for godly sorrow and repentance. It is only through this process that we can truly experience the transformative power of God's grace. As you seek to step out of your comfort zone and live by faith in Jesus Christ, remember that true faith is demonstrated through our actions. As it is written, Faith, if it does not have works, is dead in itself, James 2:17.

Let us continue to pray for the new life offered by faith in Jesus Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Lealand and his desire for a deeper relationship with You. We pray that You would break him over his sin, granting him godly sorrow that leads to true repentance. Help him to turn away from his own understanding and to trust fully in You.

Lord, we ask that You would help him to be willing to turn from patterns that do not align with Your will. And that You would help him to step out of his comfort zone, equipping him with the faith to believe and act on Your Word. We pray that Lealand would experience the new life offered by faith in Jesus Christ, and that You would guide him as he seeks to live in a manner pleasing to You.

We ask all of this in Jesus' name, for it is only in His name that we have access to You. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
