While we can pray for God's will to be done in our nations and for Him to guide our leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." WEB), it's crucial to remember that our ultimate hope and trust should be in God alone, not in man or political systems (Psalm 146:3, "Don’t put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help." WEB).
We pray, Heavenly Father, that Your will be done in our nation. We ask that You guide our leaders and the upcoming elections according to Your divine purpose.
