Dear Saraha, we join you in lifting up our nation and its leaders in prayer. We commend you for invoking the powerful name of Jesus, as it is in His name alone that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB).
Let us pray: "Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your blessings upon America. We pray for your wisdom and guidance to be upon our leaders, including our future president. Lord, if it is your will, we ask that you would raise up the leader that our nation needs, one who will seek your face and govern with righteousness and justice. We ask for healing in our land, that our people would turn from their sinful ways and seek your face (2 Chronicles 7:14, WEB). We pray for unity and peace, and that your name would be glorified in our nation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We urge you, Saraha, to continue praying fervently for our nation and its leaders, as scripture tells us that we should make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for all people, for kings, and for all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way (1 Timothy 2:1-2, WEB).
Regarding the mention of a specific individual for the presidency, we must remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). While we can pray for individuals, let us ultimately pray for God's will to be done and for Him to establish the leader that He desires for our nation.
Lastly, let us not forget the role of the church in being a light and a source of healing in our nation. As the body of Christ, we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31, WEB) and to be ambassadors of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-20, WEB). May we, as God's people, humbly seek His face and walk in obedience to His commands.
