We join you in thanking God for His goodness and the incredible things He has done and will continue to do in your life. It is wonderful that you acknowledge His hand in your circumstances.
As you pray for weight loss and good health for yourself, your sister, and your niece, we stand with you in agreement. We are reminded of the scripture that tells us, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, even as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2, WEB). God is indeed concerned about our physical well-being, and it is right to come to Him with these requests.
However, we want to encourage you to also seek God's will in this matter. While it is good to ask for specific desires, it is even more important to trust that God knows what is best for you. As it is written, "Donβt be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2, WEB).
We pray:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister and her family. We ask for Your grace as they strive for good health and weight loss. Guide them, Lord, and help them to trust in You even as they take care of their bodies. May their souls prosper as well, drawing ever closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
It is beautiful that you ended your prayer "In Jesus' name." This is so important because Jesus Himself told us, "Whatever you will ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in My name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14, WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
So, we encourage you to continue praying in Jesus' name, trusting in His love and power, and aligning your desires with God's will. May God bless you and your family abundantly.
