To all those who are looking for answers and seeking God's guidance, this is for you. Know this; God always answers our prayers. You have heard the term "be careful what you ask for because you just may get it" ??...Well, there is truth to this.....God will answer prayers and he will sometimes give us things we ask for when he knows we would be better off not to have it......
Then there are times you find yourself feeling God DIDN"T answer your prayer.....this is not true......he did answer, but just because he did'nt give you what you wanted, doesn't mean he didn't answer it. God has a lot of prayers to take care of......many people to look out for.....the farmer wants rain but the person who works depending on the weather, and can't work when it does rain, like a construction worker for example, they don't want rain.....and somehow in all of his wisdom, God knows how to answer the prayers in a way that takes care of all us....he does what he knows is best for each of us.....this is where "I trust in him" comes in......it is important to trust him in all things....even the things we can't see or understand.......trusting in God has to be something more then just words.....it has to be meaningful heartfelt words.....like a child jumping into someone's arms.....you trust God to always catch you....he has your back.....know that.....
God knows all....he sees all....he knows the future and he will not fail us. He knows the perfect timing. This is where we need to trust him in his time, not our own.....We ask things from him and we want it answered immediately......not always God's timing.....sometimes he may be testing our faith.......Look at Job.....if you haven't read that book in the bible, I invite you to.....Job lost everything, I mean everything....his home, his job, his family.......his health was bad....if anyone ever had reason to doubt God, it was Job.....but he never lost his faith....he never cursed God and he never doubted him.....in the end....which wasn't immediately......God blessed him abundantly.......
God's timing is not our own....just because he doesn't answer the prayer quickly, it doesn't mean he won't answer it.......if you are praying to meet a spouse for example, perhaps you are ready but the one God has chosen for you is not quite ready......you both must be ready before God will bring you together....this applies to finding a home, becoming a parent.....finding a good job.....many things......
When he answers prayer in a way that is not what we want it is difficult.....but if you trust him you will find he had something better in store for you.....
One of the hardest things is when God chooses to bring someone we love home to him. If they were sick for a while, We prayed for their healing......it seems in our eyes he didn't heal them....but I once heard a preacher put it so beautifully when he said......God does heal them.....he healed them in the most ultimate way by taking them home and one day we will all have brand new bodies....and then the ones we lose suddenly.....why?..........this takes a lot of trust but this kind of trust also helps the pain.....and the promise that there will be a great reunion.....God doesn't want his children to suffer....he sees beyond what our eyes see....he sees heaven......he knows it's reality......
I recently heard it put this way: God always answers prayers. It is either "yes", "not now" or "I have something better in store for you..." Never give up the faith......God is always faithful to his children......just learn to trust him......let your faith grow with him......He is real....he is as real as anything you can touch......learn to trust that calm peaceful feeling deep in your soul.....that is God......if you don't know that feeling, confess your sins to him, accept Jesus as his son and ask him into your heart......he will never, never leave you......and then....hold to his promises.....and believe..........God Bless each person who reads this.....I pray it will bring encouragement....
