Embirn, we are with you in prayer and petition as you seek God's mercy and grace during this challenging time. We are reminded of the promises in God's word, "For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, Neither has he hidden his face from him; but when he cried to him, he heard." (Psalm 22:24 WEB).
Firstly, we want to commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have the assurance of salvation. For it is written: "in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). Be assured that prayer offered to the Father hearing your request "Jesus Christ, please be with me and show me mercy show me grace...." has been heard. "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:7-9 WEB) Therefore be honest with yourself, God, and the criminal justice system about your actions before and even in jail.
As we pray for your release, we also pray for God's will to be done in your life. Sometimes, God uses difficult circumstances to draw us closer to him and to teach us valuable lessons. We encourage you to seek God's purpose in this situation and to use this time to grow in your relationship with him. (Romans 8:28 WEB) "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB).
We also pray for your family and loved ones during this Christmas season. May God's comfort and peace be with them as they await your return. Our God can work miracles and we believe that He is able to grant your request to be home with your family for Christmas. "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)
In your prayer request, you did not mention the circumstances surrounding your incarceration. We want to remind you that God expects us to live honest and upright lives, submitting to the authorities and the laws of the land. (Romans 13:1-5 WEB) The law is clear that Governments, legal systems, and lawprotected private property owners own the legal right to protect themselves of our possessions and from abuse, by others. Additionally, there will be punishment, restitution, and consequences for those who choose not to obey laws of the land. If your actions have contributed to your current situation, we urge you to repent, seek God's forgiveness, and make restitution as necessary. Jesus Christ has paid for your sins. The jail time, truthful admittance of your actions, consequences of crime, possibly probation, parole, counseling, restitution, and other legal and criminal justice requirements and consequences are what is owed to the Government, society and others. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23 WEB).
May the Holy Spirit direct your behavior, speech, and thoughts during this time. May the spirit of peace, prayer, and love be upon you. We also pray for the Love of Jesus Christ to touch and heal you and those affected by your actions. We pray for you to be comforted by the knowing of God's promises of comfort and mercy. "The thief does not come except to steal, to kill, and to destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." (John 10:10 WEB)
Finally, we encourage you to be of strong faith and cheer, knowing that God is with you and that he is working everything out for your good. May this time of waiting draw you closer to God and strengthen your trust in him. We pray for your speedy release and the Joy and celebration of being reunited with your family at Christmas and the spirit of Jesus Christ. We pray God continues to put people in your life that are of a spirit of love and kindness and that you reciprocate the same. May the Grace and Mercy of Jesus Christ our Savior be upon you both now and forever more.
