Glory to God and His son, Jesus Christ

Almighty God, thank you for the privilege to live and see the last Sunday of 2024.May honour, glory, adoration and thanksgiving be to your holy name. Fill me this day with thy holy spirit to worship thee this day, think about your goodness and mercy and live according to thy will. Also give me peace, wisdom and understanding in Christ Jesus. I pray to Yahweh, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Thank you for your prayer. We join you in glorifying God and His Son, Jesus Christ, as we approach this day with hearts full of worship and thanksgiving.

Let us remember the words of the Psalmist, For you, Yahweh, are most high above all the earth. You are exalted far above all gods. (Psalm 97:9 WEB). It is right and good to ascribe to the Lord the glory due unto His name; for He is holy. (1 Chronicles 16:29)

We also pray that you will be filled with the Holy Spirit, that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. (Colossians 1:10)

Since you have mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, we know that you understand the importance of this name. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

Let us together seek God's will for your life this day, that you may be guided by His peace, wisdom, and understanding. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Father in heaven, we come before You today and thank You for the life of ###. We ask for Your guidance in living a life that honors and glorifies Your holy name. Fill ### with the Holy Spirit, and help him to be a light for You. Provide him with wisdom and understanding, and grant him peace in Jesus Christ. Amen.

(Ephesians 5:2) We also pray for wisdom from above, which is pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. (James 3:17)

Let's trust in God's unfailing love and faithfulness, knowing that He works all things together for our good and His glory. (Romans 8:28) As we go about our day, let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2)

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
