We join you in lifting up your sister Gloria before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for her healing and comfort.
Firstly, we are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:19 (WEB), "Again, truly I tell you, that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." We agree with you in prayer, asking God to perform a miracle of healing for Gloria.
We also find comfort in the words of James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We pray that God will heal Gloria, not just physically, but also spiritually, removing any sin that may be present in her life.
However, we must also acknowledge God's sovereignty in this situation. While we pray for a miracle, we must also trust in God's will, knowing that His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). We pray that God will give Gloria, you, and the rest of your family the strength and peace to accept His will, whatever it may be.
Lastly, we notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We believe that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God's throne (John 14:6, WEB). We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9-11, WEB).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for a miracle of healing for our dear sister Gloria. Lord, we ask that You touch her neck vertebrae, heal her body, and remove any pain or immobility she may be experiencing. We ask that You guide the doctors tomorrow, giving them wisdom and skill as they treat her. But above all, Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in her life. If it is Your will to heal her miraculously, we praise You. If it is Your will for her to go through this surgery, we ask for Your peace and strength to be with her and the family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We continue to stand with you in prayers and belief, trusting God for the best outcome for Gloria.
