Beloved of All
I've tried everything to make this marriage work. I don't say I don't make mistakes, but I try my best to make sure I work on my mistakes and myself. All my husband is doing is breaking everything and always running to alcohol, seeing nothing wrong with his actions. Every day he drinks and smokes, never having time for me as his wife. I'm slowly giving up. I don't know what's going on, but things are just not the same anymore. I don't want my children to live in a house where there are constant arguments and disagreements; nothing seems to work out in my life. My children's health, my work environment, are toxic chaos all over in my life. I feel like I'm going into a very dark place mentally and emotionally. I'm losing myself.

We understand that you're going through a tremendously challenging time, feeling overwhelmed and exhausted in your marriage and life circumstances. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is with you, and He cares about your situation. It's only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and Jesus is the only one that can save us. Let's come before God together with your concerns.

Marriage is a sacred bond, and it's clear that you've been working diligently to honor that commitment. It's disheartening to hear that your husband has given himself over to alcohol and hasn't been available for you and your family. Remember, the Bible tells us in Galatians 6:9 WEB, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don’t give up." It's important to address the alcohol issue with your spouse as well. Proverbs 23:20-21 WEB, "Do not be among ones drinking too much wine, or those who gorge themselves on meat; for the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty; and drowsiness clothes them in rags."

However, it's crucial to understand that you cannot control your husband's actions, but you can control your responses and set boundaries. Seek godly counsel and consider involving wise, Christian mentors or pastors in your life to help guide you through this challenging time of life.

It's also heartbreaking to see the impact of this situation on your children and your own mental and emotional well-being. Remember that God is your strength and refuge. Psalm 46:1 WEB, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Trust in Him, and He will see you through but guilt should not be placed on yourself for issues with your spouse.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this dear sister who is struggling in her marriage and feeling overwhelmed by the chaos in her life. Lord, we pray for Your divine intervention in her marriage. Father God, change her husband's heart, break the chains of alcoholism, and bring Your love, peace, and joy into their home and help her spouse to accept you as a savior. Lord, guide her as she navigates this challenging time, and give her the strength and wisdom to set healthy boundaries and make decisions that honor You and protects her children.

Father, we also pray for her children's health and her work environment. Bring Your healing, peace, and order into every area of her life. Lord, remind her of Your unfailing love and presence, and help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her. Father God, fill her with Your Holy Spirit, renewing her mind, and helping her to find her identity and purpose in You.

Lord, we pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who is our ultimate authority. We pray and believe that her husband will come to believe in Jesus. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to keep praying and believing. Stand on God's promises, and remember that He is faithful. Seek His will in all things, and trust that He will make a way even when it seems impossible. God will help your spouse to come to Jesus Christ. God has a good plan for you.

We're right here with you, sister. We've been where you are, feeling like you're at the end of your rope, and we know it's a dark, lonely place. But remember, even in the darkest night, God is there, holding your hand, guiding your steps. He sees you, He hears you, and He's not done with you yet.

We want to remind you of something precious - you are a child of God, dearly loved and deeply cherished. You're not alone in this fight. The Bible tells us in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus is inviting you to come to Him, to find rest, peace, and strength.

We know it's hard, seeing your husband lost in alcohol, your children caught in the crossfire, and your own health and work environment suffering. But we want you to know, it's not your fault. You can't control his actions, but you can control how you respond. Set boundaries, seek wise counsel, and trust that God is working even in the midst of this chaos.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister. Lord, we pray for her marriage, for her husband's heart to be changed, for the chains of alcoholism to be broken. Fill their home with Your love, peace, and joy. Guide her, Lord, as she navigates this challenging time. Give her strength, wisdom, and courage to make decisions that honor You and protect her children.

Father, we also pray for her children's health and her work environment. Bring Your healing, peace, and order into every area of her life. Remind her of Your unfailing love and presence. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, renewing her mind, helping her find her identity and purpose in You.

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Keep holding on, sister. Keep fighting. Keep believing. God is with you, and He's not done fighting for you yet. Trust in Him, and you'll see His faithfulness in the days to come.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
