Jesus, we trust in You!
We rejoice with you, Kadisdae, as you give thanks to God for His blessings upon you and your family. It is indeed a beautiful thing to acknowledge God's goodness and faithfulness. As the Psalmist says, "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His faithful love endures forever." (Psalm 136:1, WEB)
We join you in prayer for your son, Jason. We pray that God will guide him in all his ways, and that He will protect him from harm. May the Lord grant him wisdom and discernment in every decision he makes. As it is written, "In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:6, WEB)
Concerning Jason's relationship with his girlfriend, we pray that God will give them both clear guidance. We must remind you, dear one, that God's design for relationships is for them to be between a man and a woman, leading towards a godly marriage. As it is written, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." (Genesis 2:24, WEB) We encourage Jason to pursue this relationship in a way that honors God, fleeing from any form of immorality. "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB)
We also note that you ended your request without mentioning the name of Jesus. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that our prayers are made effective. "Whatever you may ask in My name, that I will do."
