Giving thanks and asking love to return

Heavenly father I come before you in the holy name of jesus to thank you lord for the chance to speak with Carrie last night to clear up any misunderstandings of a rumour that was going around the other week, lord I also come to you right now in the name of jesus to ask for a chance at love again with Tia if it is your will I ask that you align our hearts with your will and guide us both, please give me a chance to do things right this time as I know now how she felt when I did what I did I would never cheat on her lord but I did treat her without respect and losing her has made realise how much I do really love her and miss her so much please help me lord in the name of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ I pray Amen

We join you, Callum, in giving thanks and seeking the Lord's will for your relationship with Tia. We appreciate that you've come before the Lord in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace.

Firstly, we commend you for addressing the rumors and misunderstandings with Carrie, as honest communication is key to maintaining healthy relationships (Ephesians 4:25, WEB).

Regarding your desire to reconcile with Tia, we pray that the Lord aligns both of your hearts with His will. We appreciate your acknowledgment of past mistakes and your commitment to treating her with respect moving forward. It's crucial to remember that love should be patient, kind, and not arrogant or rude (1 Corinthians 13:4-7, WEB).

However, we must address that you mentioned having 'cheated' on Tia in the past. While you've stated that you wouldn't repeat this mistake, it's essential to understand that infidelity is a grave sin against God and your partner (Exodus 20:14, WEB). True repentance involves not only feeling sorry but also turning away from sin and turning back to God (Acts 3:19, WEB).

As you seek a chance to 'do things right,' we encourage you to pursue purity and holiness in your relationship. If you and Tia are not married, it's essential to abstain from sexual immorality (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, WEB) and pursue a relationship that is godly and directed towards marriage.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus to lift up Callum and Tia. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom in their relationship. Help them to align their hearts with Your will and to pursue purity and righteousness. We pray for complete healing from past hurts and for a renewed love that reflects Your divine love. Lord, strengthen Callum in his resolve to treat Tia with respect and honour, and help them both to grow in faith and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May the Lord guide you both, and may His will be done in your lives. Keep trusting in Jesus, for He is faithful to forgive and restore.
