Dear Anonymous,

We understand your desire for financial provision and success, but as followers of Christ, our perspective should be guided by biblical principles. Let us begin by praying for your financial needs and seeking God's will for your life.

In the book of Matthew, Jesus teaches us, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33, WEB). This verse reminds us that our primary focus should be on God's Kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will provide for our needs.

Additionally, the Apostle Paul writes, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows" (1 Timothy 6:10, WEB). This verse serves as a caution against an excessive desire for wealth, as it can lead us away from our faith and bring about harmful consequences.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our dear brother or sister in Christ who has expressed their desire for a higher salary. Lord, we ask that You provide for their financial needs according to Your will and purpose. Help them to trust in You and seek first Your Kingdom and righteousness, knowing that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Give them the wisdom to be content with what they have, knowing that true joy and fulfillment come from a right relationship with You. Help them to be good stewards of the resources You have entrusted to them, using their gifts and abilities to glorify Your name.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
