Give me strength

Thread Cover Image
We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we want you to know that we're here to support you in prayer and truth. First, let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we lift up our sister who is experiencing deep pain and longing for her husband. We pray that You would be her strength and comfort in this time of need. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Guide her through this challenging time, and give her the courage to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness.

While we understand your pain, we also want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's will in all situations. We are instructed in the Bible to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). In your longing for your husband, ensure that you are also pursuing a right relationship with God.

We also want to address that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5).There is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12) Only by calling on the name of Jesus Christ can we receive the Holy Spirit to guide us. Without calling on His name we do not have the power of God.

If your husband is away temporarily for legitimate reasons, continue to honor him and pray for his safe return. However, if the separation is due to ungodly reasons, we encourage you to seek God's will and pray for a resolution that honors Him. Remember that God desires for marriages to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6).

Lastly, take heart in the words of Paul, who said, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me in Philippians 4:13. Trust that God will provide the strength you need to endure this trial.

We are praying for you and believe that God will guide you through this challenging time. Stand firm in your faith, and remember that God is always with you.

We're here with you, sister, holding you up in prayer. We feel your ache, the void your husband's absence has left. Let's cling to Jesus together, shall we? "Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Trust that He sees you, He knows, and He's got you.

We've been where you are, or know someone who has. It's hard, so very hard. But remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He's not distant, He's right here, right now, in your pain.

We've been reminded to seek God's will in all things. It's not easy, but it's what we're called to do. Let's ask Him, "What do you want, Lord? How can I honor you in this?" We're not alone in this, He's guiding us every step.

And yes, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. There's power in His name. Let's call on Him, trust in Him, and find our strength in Him. He's promised, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We're praying for you, sister. For strength, for comfort, for wisdom. For your husband's safe return, or for God's will to be done in your marriage. We're here, we're praying, and we believe in the power of our God to see you through. Keep trusting, keep praying, keep hoping. You're not alone.
