We understand that you're seeking guidance and counseling, and we're here to help you discern God's will for your life. Firstly, we appreciate that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, as it is through Him that we have access to God and no other name exists by which we can be saved. But if you want a closer relationship with Jesus then confess and believe in Him. Believing in Jesus is the first step in salvation with forgiveness of sins through Jesus's sacrifice on the cross for our sins. Scripture tells us, 'that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved' (Romans 10:9 WEB).

Now let's read about one of the instances where Jesus was asked about counseling from a polite youth that sought to understand what to do in order increase his live in eternity:
And behold, one came to him and said, Teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? He said to him, Why do you ask me about what is good? One is good, the God. But if you want to enter into the life, keep the commands. He says to him, Which? And Jesus said, These: You will not murder. You will not commit adultery. You will not steal. You will not testify falsely. Honor your father and your mother, and, You will love your neighbor as yourself. The youth says to him, All these I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack? Jesus said to him, If you want to be perfect, go sell your possessions, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven, and come, follow me. But when the youth heard the saying, he went away sad, for he had great possessions (Matthew 19:16-22 WEB)

In this instance it shows that Jesus will counsel us to what is required to have an eternal life with God.
Jesus may counsel us to do things that may be hard, but lead to greater life and rewards in the future. In your request, you mention that you haven't had any business for two weeks and are seeking counseling. It's important to remember that God's timing is perfect, and He may be using this season to draw you closer to Him and redirect your focus. As it says

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

God may be waiting on you to turn to him before you get business as His thoughts are on helping the godly.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you (Jeremiah 29:11-12 WEB)

You mention affirmation and wanting people to call and confirm as well. We want to encourage you. It's a biblical principle to find a trusted group of Christians and a believer to marry with to listen to and through which you can have this affirmation. This group will help confirm what you learn in Bible study and trusting the LORD as well: IJN (In Jesus Name)

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:20 WEB)

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Adbjorn. We thank You for their heart to serve You and bring You glory. Lord, we pray for the truth of the gospel message that Jesus is the only way of salvation, and forgiveness of sins come through Him only. We pray that You give direction and godly counsel because we know when we trust in you that You will make the paths straight. We pray that You provide for all of their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give them patience and perseverance as they wait on Your timing. We ask that You can bring Christians in to their life that will further their growth and yours will in their life. Give them godly friends, a spouse, and wise counselors who will speak truth and encouragement into their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, and remember that God is always with you, even in times of waiting. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. We pray to further discuss this with Adbjorn and help them through this period and to greater glorification of Christ.
