Let us come together and lift up Hinwir's daughter-in-law in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in her life.
Firstly, we acknowledge that the lust of the flesh is a temptation that can affect us all, as it is written in Galatians 5:16-17 (WEB): "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire."
However, God calls us to be holy and pure, especially in the context of marriage. As it is written in Hebrews 13:4 (WEB), "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Hinwir's daughter-in-law. Lord, we ask that You fill her heart with Your love and her mind with Your truth. Help her to resist the temptations of the flesh and to remain faithful to her husband, as You have commanded in Your holy word.
Lord Jesus, You are the perfect example of love and faithfulness. Help her to fix her eyes on You and to strive for holiness in her life. Give her the strength to flee from sexual immorality, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18 (WEB), "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
Holy Spirit, we ask that You comfort and guide her. Help her to walk in Your ways and to be a godly wife, loving and supportive of her husband.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Hinwir, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your daughter-in-law. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Trust in the power of prayer and the promises of God.
Also, Hinwir, we notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation and for the salvation of your loved ones.
