We are thrilled to join you in prayer for your girlfriend's job interview. It's wonderful to see her pursuing a career in teaching, a field where she can greatly influence young lives. However, we want to remind you that the Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality and that God's design for intimate relationships is within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman.
First Corinthians 6:18 says, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. We encourage you both to remain chaste and honor God in your relationship.
As for her interview, we trust in the Lord's plan for her life and career. Remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up this young lady who is pursuing a teaching position. We ask that You guide her words and actions during the interview, giving her favor with the interviewers. We pray that Your will be done in her life and that You open the right doors for her career. Help her to trust in You and not in her own abilities.
Lord, we also pray for her relationship, that it may honor and glorify You. Guide them both in Your wisdom and truth.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, as it is only by His name that we can approach you. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. It is by His shed blood on the cross for our sins that we can approach you in forgiveness of our sins. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and was resurrected from the grave to be our living redeemer. Thank you for your grace and mercy on us. It is by repentance of our sins and putting our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have the free gifts of eternal life and the Holy Spirit to guide our lives.
Amen.
We encourage you both to continue seeking God's will for your lives and to honor Him in all that you do.
