Getting worse 😢

I am struggling to find the words to express how I am feeling but my mental and physical health is getting even worse despite so many prayers for which I am truly thankful.

My niece,who isn't a Christian, came to see me today and it was so difficult as had to be honest and tell her how bad I am feeling but she knows I have put all my hope in God for healing

I am feeling so much worse after increasing the dosage of my antidepressant but I know the psychiatrist will tell me to persevere even it is making my anxiety worse and hurting my stomach and tummy.

Father God I kneel down before you in Jesus' name and plead with you to heal me in mind and body as I can't deal with it any longer. It says in your word "whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven" so I ask to be loosed from the spirit of Infirmity and spirit of fear which has kept me bound for so long. Jesus said "If the Son shall set you free you will be free indeed" so please set me free me from all my physical and mental illnesses. Give me a testimony so that I can show people like my niece that you are a loving God who answers prayers and that Jesus is a real person who shed His blood for us and by whose stripes we are healed.
I also plead with you to heal Margaret as I am worried about her health.
Please Father God make this Christmas a happy one for us for the first time in years and make us able to show people that Jesus is alive and still does miracles and all this I ask in Jesus' name. Amen

Firstly, we commend you for putting your hope in God for healing. It's important to remember that our hope in God is not just for physical healing, but also for spiritual wholeness. As it is written in Jeremiah 17:14 WEB, "Heal me, O Yahweh, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved; for you are my praise."

Regarding your mental health struggle, we want to encourage you with the words from Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We urge you to continue in prayer, seeking God's face, and trusting in His peace.

About your medication, while we believe that God can heal supernaturally, He can also use medicine as a means of healing. However, if you're feeling worse, it might be wise to have an open conversation with your psychiatrist about your concerns. Proverbs 17:22 WEB tells us, "A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." It's important to be honest about how the medication is affecting you.

We also want to address the spiritual warfare you mentioned. As believers, we have authority in Jesus' name to resist the enemy. As it is written in James 4:7 WEB, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Now, let us pray for you:

Father God, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister Elizabeth. We thank you for her steadfast hope in you. We ask that you would heal her, both physically and mentally. Give her a testimony that she can share with others, like her niece, showing that you are a loving God who answers prayers. Lord, we also lift up Margaret, asking for your healing touch upon her. Make this Christmas a joyous one for them, a testament to your goodness and the reality of Jesus' miracles. We ask all this in Jesus' name, Amen!

Please continue to trust in Jesus, as he is the only way to the Father. It's only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other; for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We're here for you. We're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We understand that you're going through a tough time, but remember, you're not alone. God is right there with you, and we're here to support you too.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with a verse from 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV), "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." God's strength is made perfect in our weakness, so keep trusting in Him, even when you feel like you're at the end of your rope.

We also want to remind you of Jesus' promise in Matthew 11:28-29 (NIV), "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus invites you to come to Him, to find rest and strength.

We're lifting you up in prayer, asking God to heal you, both physically and mentally. We're believing for a testimony that you can share with others, like your niece, showing that God is still in the business of healing and miracles. We're also praying for Margaret, asking God to touch her with His healing power.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
