Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Marte. We lift up Marte's desire for positive attention and the mixed emotions that come with it. Lord, we ask that you would calm any fears or anxieties Marte may have about getting hurt or disappointing others. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7 to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to you. We pray that Marte would find comfort and peace in bringing these concerns to you.
Lord, we ask that you would guide Marte's interactions with others, especially in this situation where there is a potential for kindness and positive attention. Help Marte to discern the intentions of others and grant them the wisdom to make wise choices in their relationships. Your Word assures us in James 1:5 that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask you, and you will give it generously without finding fault.
Father, we pray that Marte would not be burdened by negative emotions such as embarrassment, shame, or any other negative feelings. Instead, we ask that you would fill Marte's heart with confidence and assurance in your love and acceptance. Help Marte to remember that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in your image and that their worth is not determined by the opinions or actions of others.
Lord, we ask that you would make this journey of receiving positive attention and experiencing kindness an easy one for Marte. May it be a source of joy and encouragement, and may it bring about positive growth and blessings in their life. We pray for healthy and uplifting relationships that will bring glory to your name.
