Getting let go at work

My boss has set up a meeting with HR to let me go. Since April I have been diagnosed with cancer and have only worked 22,5 hours a week. I am not surprised. But I pray for a good future in Jesus' name.

Wuthei, we are deeply sorry to hear about your situation and the challenges you've been facing with your health and now your employment. Let us come alongside you in prayer and remind you of God's promises during this difficult time.

Firstly, we commend you for including Jesus' name in your request, as it is only through Him that we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). It's also important to remember that God has a plan and a purpose for your life, even in the midst of trials (Romans 8:28 WEB).

In regards to your job, it's disheartening to hear that your employer has decided to let you go, especially during your battle with cancer. While it's easy to feel anxious about the future, we encourage you to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Remember, God is sovereign, and He is your provider. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-26 WEB, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?"

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up Wuthei to You, asking for Your divine peace, comfort, and provision during this challenging time. Lord, You know the struggles they've been facing with their health and now their employment. We ask that You guide their steps and open doors for new opportunities that align with Your will. Please provide for their financial needs and surround them with a supportive community. In Jesus' name, we pray for healing and restoration, both physically and emotionally. Give Wuthei a resolute hope and unshakable faith in Your goodness and promises. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in faith, Wuthei, and keep trusting in the Lord. He will see you through this difficult season. Keep praying and seeking His face, knowing that He loves you and has a good future in store for you (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
