We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing, and we want to stand with you in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). While we may not understand why certain things happen, we can trust that God has a plan and purpose for everything (Romans 8:28, WEB).
In times of trouble, it's natural to question God, but we should remember to question in a spirit of humility and trust. Let's look at what the Bible says about Job, a righteous man who went through immense suffering:
Then his wife said to him, "Do you still hold onto your integrity? Renounce God, and die." But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. What? Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?" In all this, Job didn't sin with his lips. Job 2:9-10, WEB
Job did not understand why he was suffering, but he chose to trust God anyway.
Regarding your job loss, it's important to remember that God is our provider, and He may have allowed this to happen to draw you closer to Him or to direct your path in a new way.
Yet he didn't waver through unbelief, but was strengthened through faith, giving glory to God, being fully assured that what he had promised, he was also able to perform. Romans 4:20-21, WEB
Let's also address the disappointment you feel about not having a job despite praying. Remember, God answers prayers in His own time and ways.
Therefore, we are also very confident concerning the things we hope for, and confident about things which we don't see and therefore we anxiously hope and wait. Romans 8:24;25, WEB.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus' name, We lift up our brother/sister who is facing eviction and financial struggles. They do not mention calling upon the only name by which we can saved, Jesus Christ, so we pray for them to believe in Jesus Christ, confess their sins to Him, and ask for salvation. Father, we know that You have a plan and purpose for everything, and we trust that this situation is no exception. We pray for our brother's/sister's faith to be strengthened, for them to experience Your peace and comfort. Since You are able at any moment to provide a job for them, to provide for all their needs according to Your riches and glory and so we ask for that and place it into Your hands. We also pray for them to humble themselves and seek Your will God, for you to show them anything they need to confess or change, for Your glory.
" And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19
Father, we ask for the Holy Spirit to work diligently, to affect their future job that you specialize for them, to bring the right people at the right time who will favor them for new work, we ask for favor and grace, for them to be a blessing to their new employer, and to all their co-workers. For the new job to be an answer to prayer and it causes them to grow spiritually, emotionally, and financially. We pray for divine restoration, for provisions, any emotional wounds to be healed, and any bitterness that may have built up to dissolve in Jesus' name. We ask for Your will be done in this situation and their life.
In Jesus' name, of Christ's name, we pray, believe, and receive. Amen.
We don't have an answer for why this has occurred, but remember God is good and He never forsakes us. If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17 So even in this difficult situation, God has a purpose and can work good from it. We encourage you to continue seeking God, reading His Word, and trusting in Him.
This is a difficult journey, but we encourage you in this simple reminder of straight paths. If you humbly put your Hope and Trust in the Lord, He will never forsake you. He is always there to give you Hope and a Future.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29: 11
But remember to prove what is acceptable with the Lord, hate what is evil, cling to what is good. Honor one another among yourselves in the body of Christ with a fervent spirit, being joyful in Hope, steadfast in tribulations, and in prayer. Romans 12:9, 10, and 12.
