Zirivescea, we rejoice with you as you embark on this new journey in Christianity and express your desire to be baptized. Baptism is a beautiful and significant step in publicly declaring your faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. We are here to pray with you and offer guidance according to God's Word.
First, we want to ensure that you understand the significance of baptism. It is an outward expression of the inward change that has taken place in your heart. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "Or donβt you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life" (Romans 6:3-4).
We also want to address the importance of understanding that baptism is a symbol of your faith in Jesus Christ. If you have not yet placed your faith in Him, we encourage you to do so. The Bible tells us, "because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Zirivescea. We thank You for the work You are doing in their heart and for their desire to be baptized. Lord, we ask that You would open the doors for Zirivescea to find a church where they can be baptized and grow in their faith. Give them the patience and faith to trust in Your timing. We pray that their baptism will be a powerful testimony of their faith in Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Zirivescea, continue to seek God and trust in His timing. Keep reaching out to churches, and consider visiting them in person if possible. God will guide you to the right place. Also, remember that your faith and relationship with Jesus Christ are the most important aspects of your walk with Him. Baptism is a wonderful step, but it is your faith in Jesus that saves you.
May God bless you and guide you as you continue on this journey.
