Getting back with my ex

The love of my life broke up end of November. We are keeping no contact. I have sent her a letter yesterday. I hope and pray she will be receptive for it. I love her soo much.

Swuaspanath, we understand that you're going through a difficult time, but we want to help you see this situation through the lens of scripture. First, let's address the issue of relationships and breakups. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB it says,

"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."

From this verse, we can see that love is not about possessing or controlling someone, but about patience, kindness, and hoping for the best for them. We are concerned that you are focusing too much on your feelings and desires rather than God's will and the well-being of the other person. Additionally, you mentioned that you have sent her a letter but you did not mention a spouse, marriage, or God's will for marriage. The goal of courtship and dating should be marriage. In your request you are asking to get back with your ex but not mentioning God's will for marriage. God's will for you and the other person is more important than your own desires.

Moreover, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6 WEB Jesus said,

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

In Acts 4:12 WEB it also says,

"There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"

We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ and seek God's will for your life and the person you are trying to get back together with. It is important to seek God's will and place His desires above your own.

We pray that you will help him to trust in you and seek your will for his life and this relationship in Jesus name. We encourage you to seek God's will for your life and this relationship. Trust in Him and His timing. He knows what is best for you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
