We understand that you're seeking guidance and clarity for a situation involving a gathering or dinner with a TG group. Firstly, we need to address that the term TG typically refers to transgender individuals, and we want to ensure that our response aligns with biblical principles.
We believe that every person is created in God's image and is deeply loved by Him. However, the Bible teaches that God created humans as male and female, and that sexual relations are reserved for the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman. We must affirm this to truly benefit those in need of prayer,
Firstly, we must also affirm and remember the words of the apostle Paul, If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. All things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ. We must also remember what was written in Ephesians chapter 4,
Now this I affirm and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds. They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart. They have become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity. But that is not the way you learned Christ!— assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
Given this context, we encourage you to seek God's will in this situation and pray for discernment. Here is our prayer for you,
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your guidance and clarity for our brother ###. Lord, we pray that You clear any confusion and restore any memories that honor You. We ask that You guide ### in Your truth and help them to make decisions that align with Your will.
Lord, we also pray for those involved in the upcoming dinner. We ask that You protect them and open their hearts to Your truth. We pray that Your light shines in any darkness, and Your love is made known to all present.
Father, we ask for Your forgiveness if there are any sins or ungodly practices. We will also leave any judgment in this situation to you. We ask all things in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
