We understand your desire for pregnancy, Adena, and we will pray with you about this. However we should pray for things that align with God's will and knowing this may help us in Jesus name. First, we want to remind you that children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. (Psalm 127:3). It is also important to recognize that God is not a genie that we summon to do our will but a loving, kind, righteous, and just Lord. Therefore, we pray for God's will and not for specific outcomes that we desire. God wants us to include His son Jesus Christ in our prayers since it is only through Jesus that we are worthy to pray to God.
As we consider marriage and children, it is a concern your prayer request does not mention your husbands or marriage. We are instructed in God's Word, 1 Corinthians 7 that the husband and wife own each others bodies for sexual intimacy and children. This is within the bounds and protections of marriage. Therefore, we pray that you both in Jesus name are in a marriage that is God honoring and God blessed.
Regardless of the outcome, we want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5,6)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Adena, her sister and their families before your throne of grace. Lord, you know their hearts' desires and have the power to open wombs. Therefore we pray in the name of Jesus, that your kingdom come and your will is done for Adena and her sister and restore their families. If it is your will and their love and faith is in Jesus, we pray you will bless them with children that maybe raised as arrows for war in these end times. We ask with a heart of faith and thanksgiving and pray these things in Jesus precious name amen.
We also pray for the healing of your father, that God would comfort and strengthen all of you during this difficult time. We pray that you all would draw near to God and put your hope and trust in him alone.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God cares for you and has a plan for your future. Seek his will and trust him to lead you forward. For we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Trust in the Lord, and wait patiently for him. (Romans 8:28, Psalm 37:7)
