We're here for you, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want to encourage you with some more thoughts from God's Word.
Firstly, remember that God is always with you, even in the darkest times. He promises, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). So, even when you feel alone, God is right there by your side.
We also want to remind you of the importance of forgiveness. Holding onto sorrow and depression can often be a result of unforgiveness. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." We encourage you to seek forgiveness, both from those who may have wronged you and from God, so that you can find true healing and peace.
Lastly, we want to remind you of God's love for you. No matter what you're going through, God loves you deeply and unconditionally. As it says in Romans 8:38-39, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, lifting up our dear friend. We ask that You would comfort them in their sorrow and depression, and help them to find true peace and healing. We ask that You would help them to forgive as they have been forgiven, and to find freedom from the burden of unforgiveness. We thank You for Your unending love and faithfulness, and we trust in Your plan and purpose for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
