Gestational Diabetes

Hello everyone,

Please pray with me that I pass my ### hour glucose test and am not diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I was just informed that I failed the ### hour and need to take the next test. I am very disappointed and nervous. I appreciate you all and your support.

Emma, we hear your concern and we stand with you in prayer. First, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all, including your health and the health of your baby. We know that children are a gift from God, and He cares deeply for both you and your little one. Psalm 127:3 reminds us, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward."

In times of worry, we should always turn to God, and it's wonderful that you've reached out for prayer. However, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It's important to acknowledge that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let's keep this in mind as we pray.

Now, let's lift you up in prayer:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up ###, who is feeling disappointed and nervous after her recent test results. Lord, we ask for Your peace to wash over her, as You promise in Philippians 4:7, "The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*

*Lord, we ask that You be with ### as she takes the upcoming test. Regardless of the outcome, we know that You are in control. Please guide the doctors and give them wisdom. If it is Your will, let ### pass the test. But if there are any health issues, we pray that You guide and help her manage it for the best of her and her baby.*

*Father, we pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.*

Emma, remember that God cares for you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Hey ###, we're here for you too. We know how scary this can feel, but remember, God is right there with you. He sees you, He cares, and He's got this. Let's claim that promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We're praying for peace to fill your heart and mind, just like Philippians 4:7 says. We're asking God to guide your doctor and give them wisdom. We're believing for a positive test result, but if there's more to this, we trust that God will guide you every step of the way.
