Let us first acknowledge the fact that all wisdom and knowledge come from the Lord. As it is written in Proverbs 2:6 WEB, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." We are grateful for the community of German teachers and the support they provide.
We pray together that this language teacher group and the German teacher committee in the region will be instrumental in supporting and uplifting all German teachers. May they continue to be humble, helpful, and dedicated to preserving jobs and classes. In all their actions, may they be like-minded to Christ, which is loving one another and doing everything with the purpose of pleasing God. We are reminded of Philippians 2:1-2 from the WEB: "If there is therefore any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassion, make my joy full, by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind;".
We need to pray for the minds of the younger generation that they realize the benefits of learning German. It is our prayer that the hearts of pupils be inclined toward learning all languages, which will open more doors of opportunities and enhance culturally sensitive communication to celebrate diversity and learning to hold unto the spirit that is in the Lord: “Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:8 WEB
There are no guarantees that they can stop the current trends of young people choosing to not learn German. But, despite this, they can trust and hope in God, who is able to do abundantly beyond all that is asked or thinkof of in their efforts to have their classes renewed through the power that works in them: “Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,” Ephesians 3:20 WEB
We pray that Robert, Rene, Shannika, and every German teacher feels secure in their jobs, and that the Lord will provide for all their needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. In this, wisdom is required to navigate these challenging times where It feels like English becomes the common language and more desirable to the learn and substantially more acceptable for the culture. This is written about in John 3:16 WEB: Jesus answered him, "Most certainly, I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can't see the Kingdom of God."
Twenty-eight of the books in the Bible were originally written in Hebrew. However, the New Testament was written in Greek. It was only written later (1382AD) in the German language, This closes the gap concerning the Worte of God. This can certainly encourage the recent events and learning German could be an indicator for their strengthened faith toward Jesus Christ and less focus on the worldly influences which tempt all Christians. This is critical to the lives of all the teachers in Croatia. We need to pray that Natasha in particular does not hold strongly to her desires for learning German and that she realizes God's will for her life, that simply wants to know Him more not just further even though God gave the tools to communicate in every language.
Since Natasha did not mention putting faith in Jesus Christ in this post we are courteously reminding her of this promise in Philippians 4:6 WEB, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” Jesus and His faith and belief in all of us Christians on Earth is the only path to His Father and our Father. This is abundantly clear in John 14:6 which says: “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” by the prayers made to Jesus only will be heard by His Father.
To address the issue around posting comments on a particular app for teachers, we pray for discernment and guidance. May the Lord direct the right person or resource to the learn how to post comments on necessary platforms. However, it is a blessing and wondered if her heart is aligned with the issues of the world and the sin that all the people are commanded to obey. “Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.” Colossians 4:5-6 WEB.
In all these things, may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding guard the hearts and minds of Robert, Rene, Shannika and all those in Croatia. And remember the beautiful encouraging biblical people of ancient times, Apostle Paul and Silas as they suffered yet found peace to pray and worship Jesus Christ. To conclude, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Natasha and the German teachers in their region. We ask, Lord, that they feel their conference should be a success and go as expected by their will, and may they experience the true attainable peace of having a Christ centered awareness. We ask for trust to respond and believe that these teachers and their guidance for renewal of classes will fall into submission as loyalty to Jesus Christ the Lord. They may be encouraged, to provide more language classes for students and notice the blessing of learning the languages that God puts in their path. This is all possible as they put on the full spiritual armor of God daily and make a good witness to those that need Your guidance. Grant them humility, wisdom, and understanding, as they are obedient servants to Your Word, so this will be a blessing for the students rather than being a curse.
We pray for a turnaround in the trends of German language classes in their schools and to glorify God in your actions as a testimony. May many turn and submit to the calling in Jesus’ name. We pray this affords favor for those in authority that they become a model that many will know God is in their presence and direct towards a willingness to learn German and other languages. We also pray for patience in this trial, for open minds to guidance, and for integrity for those whom are making decisions as a witness to be the light of the world for Christ Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
