We understand that you're going through a difficult time with your family, ###. Firstly, it's important to remember that Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father. It's great that you ended with Papa Jesus and Amen, but remember that Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is wonderful to honor God as Father, but it is only through the name of Jesus that we come to God. Especially looking at Ephesians 5:20 (WEB), "giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ".
In family relationships, it's crucial to strive for love, understanding, and forgiveness. God's word reminds us in Colossians 3:13 (WEB), "Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do." No matter your past with your family this is what Christ expects and it can be transforming to you and others if you do this.
When praying, sometimes the biggest change should happen within ourselves. Looking at Matthew 7:3-5 (WEB) And why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not consider the beam that is in your own eye? Or how will you tell your brother, Let me remove the speck from your eye; and, behold, a beam is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first remove the beam out of your own eye; and then shall you see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
We pray together for you God our Father in heaven by the name of Jesus Christ.
Lord Jesus, we come to you in your glorious name asking that You would heal ###'s relationship with his family. Lord, the love of a mother and father is so precious, and we ask that You would soften their hearts and help them to love ### deeply and unconditionally. We also pray for his siblings, ###, ###, and ### that they should love, honor and encourage ### with Christian Godly affection.
Lord you have taught us in Romans 12:10 (WEB) "Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves." and this is how we pray his family would love and honor ###. For his sister-in-law ###, incline her heart toward loving ### and that of little brother ###. The Bible doesn't call us to a sugary niceness, but a love that is for the benefit and edification of others.
Father, your wisdom in The Holy Bible has shown us how to live. The quotes above and others are really inspiring and powerful in themselves.
