Firstly, we commend you for desiring to walk in love towards God and others, and to become more Christ-like. This is indeed the goal of every Christian, as stated in Romans 8:29, "For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers."
Regarding your struggle with masturbation, we want to encourage you that victory is possible through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells us to "flee sexual immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB) and that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19, WEB). Masturbation is a form of sexual immorality and does not align with God's will for our lives.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your help and intervention in ###'s life. We plead the blood of Jesus over this struggle with masturbation and ask that You set ### free from this bondage. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in love and purity. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
