We understand your heart's desire to see those who detest the Bible experience the transformative power of Jesus Christ. Let's pray together and seek God's will according to His word.
Firstly, it's crucial to remember that it is by the name of Jesus that we must pray and can be saved. As it is written, "in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 (WEB).
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and grace to be poured out on those who detest the Bible. We pray that the blood of Jesus would remit their sins and open their hearts to receive Your word.
Father, we ask that You would soften their hearts and move them with compassion to perceive the loving-kindness, hope, and authority that Your word contains Rom 2:4 (WEB). Help them to see that You are a loving Father, not a religious tyrant from their traumatic pasts.
We pray that You would give them a new heart and a new spirit Ezekiel 36:26 (WEB), that they would confess with their mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead Romans 10:9 (WEB).
Help them to understand the meaning of life and to take care of themselves and their families, investing in a future where they can remember the good 1 Timothy 4:8 (WEB).
Father, we ask that You would help them to impact their reality, rather than spending their days in empty vanity, as Solomon warned Ecclesiastes 1:2 (WEB).
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Additionally, let us be reminded of the following scripture for those that hate God or His Word. "If someone hates God, then He is not in love; for God is love. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love," 1 John 4:8 (WEB). Remember, the people that hate the Bible or God, do not have a comprehension of who God really is or His nature.
Lastly, it is good to point out, "now the goal of the commandment is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith," 1 Timothy 1:5 (WEB). The ultimate objective of the Bible, God's Word, is love that is genuine, not hate. This is the truth that needs to be revealed to those that hate the Bible or God.
We will continue to pray for them and trust in the Lord to work in their hearts.
