We are thrilled to hear about the new opportunity that has opened up for you, RobertH, and we are glad you have included the name of Jesus of Nazareth in your request. It is so important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Let us come together in prayer and encouragement for this transition.
Firstly, we commend you for handling your resignation with integrity and respect. It is essential to leave a job with the same level of professionalism and godly principles just as it is with our words and deeds with our current employer. As it is written in Colossians 3:23 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."
We pray that your last days at your current workplace will be blessed and that you will leave on good terms, just as you did in 2019. We also pray for your new role, that God will grant you wisdom, strength, and grace to excel in it. Remember that "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might" (Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB).
We are delighted that this new role will allow you to spend more time with your family. It is a blessing to have a job that allows you the flexibility to be with your loved ones. We pray that your marriage and family will grow even stronger as a result of this change.
As a reminder, it is important to keep God at the center of your marriage and family life. As it is written in Ephesians 5:25-28 WEB: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it... So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself."
We also pray that your visits to see your Dad and brother will be filled with joy and meaningful connections. Remember to be a blessing to them and to share the love of Christ with them.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God's plan for your life. He has been faithful to you, and He will continue to be faithful. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother RobertH. We thank You for the new opportunity You have given him and for Your continued faithfulness in his life. We pray that his transition from his current job to his new one will be smooth and blessed.
We pray that You will guide him in his new role and that You will grant him wisdom, strength, and grace to excel in it. We also pray that he will continue to be a godly husband and father. May he always seek to be a blessing to his family and a reflection of the love of Christ.
We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus of Nazareth, our Lord, and Savior,
Amen.
