We understand that you're going through a difficult time dealing with gaslighting, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, it's important to address that the name of Jesus Christ is not mentioned even though Yahweh was used. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we must pray and have access to God.
Let us remember to obey God rather than men. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by him. John 14.6 WEB God has made the same Jesus that was crucified both Lord and Christ. Acts 2.36 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. Acts 4.12 WEB
Gaslighting is a form of manipulation that can be emotionally and mentally harmful, and it's important to seek God's protection and guidance. Jesus himself said, The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. John 10.10 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is experiencing gaslighting. Lord, You are a God of truth and justice, and You see the manipulation and deceit being perpetrated.
We pray that You would expose the lies and bring the truth to light. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1.7 WEB Rebuke the spirits of manipulation and deceit, and command them to cease their influence. Let no corrupt talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4.29 WEB
Strengthen our brother/sister with Your wisdom and discernment, so that they may stand firm against these attacks. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6.11 WEB
We ask for Your divine protection over their mind and emotions. May they find freedom and peace in Your presence. Cast all your anxieties on him, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5.7 WEB
Finally, we pray for the individuals who are being used by the enemy to cause this harm. Lord, open their eyes to the truth, and turn their hearts toward You. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6.12 WEB
Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3.20-21 WEB
Remember, it's crucial to surround yourself with supportive and godly people who speak truth and life. Stay in the Word of God, and keep praying for those who are causing you harm. As Christians, we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5.44 WEB).
If you are not doing so already, consider courting a fellow believer in Christ for a marriage that honors God. Take care that this person displays the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5.22-23 WEB
