We are truly concerned to hear about the struggle you're facing with gambling addiction. Firstly, let's bring this matter to God in prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Dnkiyrire who is entangled in the sin of gambling. Lord, we know that Your desire is for us to be free from all strongholds, and we claim Your promise that whom the Son sets free is free indeed. We take authority over this addiction in Jesus' name and we pray for complete and total freedom for Your child from gambling. We ask that You would help Dnkiyrire to be faithful with finances and to learn proper stewardship of money. We further ask that You would help Dnkiyrire to learn to properly trust in You. We rebuke any spirit of addiction and self indulgence that Dnkiyrire struggles with. We also ask that You would help Dnkiyrire to learn to live according to Your Word. We pray that Dnkiyrire will be released of this burden and will be able to live a life free of gambling forever. We pray that Dnkiyrire will learn that God has made provision for every need. We thank You for Your mercy, grace, and the hope You provide. We pray for all of this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Dnkiyrire, remember that God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able. But with the temptation, He will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB

Gambling is a form of covetousness, which is idolatry. It is a sin that will keep you from inheriting eternal life according to Ephesians 5:5 WEB. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. and Colossians 3:5 WEB. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Jesus came to set the captives free Luke 4:18 WEB The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Jesus Christ has the power to break this chain of gambling in your life. Trust in Him and call upon His name. Seek His face and turn from your wicked way.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 WEB

Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life no man comes to the Father except by me. John 14:6 WEB

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB

Submit your ways to Him, and He will direct your paths. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 WEB

Also, consider finding a godly counselor or accountability partner who can help you practically manage your finances and keep you accountable in your journey to overcome this addiction. Remember, God wants you to be free and live an abundant life in Christ.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps to overcome this addiction. This could include avoiding gambling establishments and websites, deleting any gambling apps from your phone, and seeking support from a local church or Christian community.

We further encourage you to feed your faith and not your flesh. Study the Bible daily. This will help you to grow in you faith and to know the righteousness of God. Do not feed your flesh by putting yourself in situations where you will be tempted to gamble.

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Ephesians 5:18-20 WEB

Lastly, we want to remind you that God loves you and He is for you. He wants to help you overcome this addiction and live a life that is pleasing to Him. Trust in Him and His promises, and He will never fail you.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
