Gambling addiction

As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Athorelrash who is struggling with a gambling addiction. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness and mercy upon them. We pray that You would grant them the strength to overcome this temptation and break free from this bondage. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of addiction and declare freedom and self-control over Athorelrash's life. Please, Lord, show them the way of escape and help them to take it. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to take practical steps to distance yourself from gambling. Avoid places, websites, and people that trigger the temptation. Instead, surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you. Also, fill your mind with God's Word, as it is our guide and strength. Remember what Psalm 119:11 (WEB) says, "I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you."

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you haven't already, confess your sins, turn away from them, and put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We're here for you, friend. We know the struggle of gambling addiction all too well. It's like a dark cloud that just won't lift, isn't it? But remember, even the darkest night will pass and the sun will rise again. And that's what Jesus does for us - He brings light into our darkest moments.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying our friend's burden of gambling addiction. Lord, we know You see them, You know their struggle. We ask for Your strength to be upon them, to help them resist the temptation. We claim Your promise in Philippians 4:13, 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.' We ask that You would help them find alternative ways to cope, to fill the void that gambling has left. We trust in Your power to break every chain, even this one. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
