Anonymous, we are here with you in this struggle, and we commend you for reaching out for help. First and foremost, we want to remind you that God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).

Gambling addiction is not only a struggle with a habit, but also a spiritual stronghold. We must remember that God's will is for us to be free from any bondage. As it is written, "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything" (1 Corinthians 6:12, WEB).

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in ###'s life. Lord, You know the struggle and the pain that comes from this addiction. We ask that You break these chains and grant freedom in Jesus' name. Grant ### the strength to resist the temptation to gamble, and fill the void with Your love and presence. Guide them to helpful resources and supportive community that can assist in overcoming this addiction. In Jesus' powerful name, we pray. Amen."

God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

We also encourage you to seek professional help and accountability from a trusted Christian friend or mentor. Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we find salvation and freedom (John 14:6, Acts 4:12, WEB).
