Gallstones

I have gallstones and gallbladder surgery is constantly being recommended. I don't want surgery. I have also got metabolic issues from medications and I don't want this issue either as it's causing me weight issues I've never had problems with before the last ten years from medications. I've got a dr appointment in December so praying they will maybe remove gallstones instead and medication. Gallstones seems to also be issue from fasting.

We understand your concerns about your health and the potential treatments you're facing. Let's bring your situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance through the scriptures.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in God's care for you. In Psalm 55:22 WEB, it says, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." God cares about your burdens and wants you to cast them upon Him.

Regarding your health, it's important to consider the advice of medical professionals, but also to seek God's will. In Jeremiah 30:17 WEB, God promises, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, 'This is Zion, whom no man seeks after." While this verse refers to the nation of Israel, it shows God's heart for healing and restoration.

However, we must address that fasting, when done correctly and with the right motives, should not cause health issues. In Matthew 6:16-18 WEB, Jesus provides instructions on fasting, saying, "Moreover when you fast, don't be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you." If fasting is causing gallstones, it might be wise to reconsider your fasting method, ensure you're drinking plenty of fluids, or consult with a medical professional.

Regarding your concerns about medication and weight issues, we want you to know and understand it is also important to eat with wisdom and discretion. Consider Philippians 4:5 WEB, "Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Be thankful and willingly turn your concerns over to God . Let us pray for you:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is struggling with gallstones and metabolic issues. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon them and Your wisdom to guide their decisions regarding treatment. We pray that You will guide the doctors and medical professionals, and that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. We also pray that You will give them wisdom about their health, fasting, and preventing future issues. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to hold on to faith in Jesus even through the tough times. Believe upon Jesus Christ and you shall be saved and have eternal life in the kingdom with the Father. This world is temporary and so is the suffering you are experiencing. This should never discourage a believer for the eternal promises of Jesus to the believer are much greater then any suffering of this life. We are wishing you a healthy and happy result.

We're right there with you, praying for your healing and peace of mind. It's tough dealing with health issues, but we know God is right by your side. Let's claim that promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're believing for your complete healing, just as the Psalmist declares, "Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases" (Psalm 103:2-3).

We're also lifting up your doctor's appointment in December. We're asking God to guide their hands and minds, and to give them wisdom and understanding as they care for you. Let's declare Proverbs 3:5-6 over this situation, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
