We join you, Opsonymia, in lifting up your mother's upcoming gallbladder surgery to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It's crucial that we come together in His name, for as it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Firstly, we want to commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as this is the only way we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). It is by His name alone that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
As your mother prepares for her surgery, let us pray for God's steadfast hand to guide the surgeons and the medical team. We pray that He will grant them wisdom, skill, and success in the operation (Exodus 35:31). We ask for God's comforting presence to be with your mother, giving her peace and courage throughout the procedure (Psalm 23:4, Isaiah 41:10).
We also pray for a swift and uncomplicated recovery, trusting that Jehovah Rapha, our God who heals, is with her (Exodus 15:26). Remember, dear one, that even in times of distress, the Lord promises to be with us, strengthening us and holding us up with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).
Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God's plan and timing. Know that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him, those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Use this time to draw closer to Him, to seek His face, and to rest in His unfailing love.
Father, we come before You now, asking for a successful surgery and a quick recovery for Opsonymia's mother. May Your will be done, and may You be glorified through this situation. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
