We are deeply concerned for Gail as she faces surgery for cancer in her esophagus. In times like these, we must turn to God for His comfort, strength, and healing. Let us pray together and seek His will.
Firstly, we want to ensure that our prayers are aligned with God's will and offered in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Now, let us pray for Gail:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Gail. Lord, You know the details of her upcoming surgery and the cancer she is battling. We ask for Your healing touch upon her. Guide the hands of the surgeons and the entire medical team, granting them wisdom and skill.
Father, we also pray for Gail's spirit, that You would comfort her and grant her peace that passes all understanding. Strengthen her faith and help her to trust in You completely. Remind her of Your promise in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Donโt be afraid, for I am with you. Donโt be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
We also pray for Gail's family and loved ones, that You would surround them with Your love and peace during this challenging time.
Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in Gail's life. If it is Your will, we pray for a miraculous healing. But even more, we pray that Gail would draw closer to You through this trial and that her life would bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Wylassa, we encourage you to continue trusting in God's goodness and sovereignty. Remember that He loves Gail deeply and is always working for her ultimate good (Romans 8:28). Stand strong in faith and do not hesitate to call on the body of Christ for support and prayer.
