We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed, lonely, and discouraged, but we want to assure you that God has not abandoned you. Let's address your concerns and lift them up in prayer together.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares for you deeply. He says, I will never leave you, nor forsake you, Hebrews 13:5. Even when it feels like God is distant, He is always there, walking beside you. In your pain, you might feel like God hates you, but the truth is, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life, John 3:16 WEB.
It's commendable that you've spent your life helping others, but it's also important to set boundaries and understand that people might not always reciprocate. Jesus Himself experienced rejection, Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you, Matthew 5:11-12 WEB.
Regarding your job, remember that God has a purpose for you in every season. He can use even the most difficult circumstances for your good, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28 WEB.
As for your feelings of loneliness and desire for a spouse, we encourage you to trust in God's timing. He knows the desires of your heart. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this, Psalm 37:4-5 WEB.
In your feelings of desperation, remember that God has a purpose for you on this earth. It's not His will for you to give up. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up our brother who is feeling lonely, discouraged, and overwhelmed. We ask that You reveal Your love and presence to him in a tangible way. Comfort him in his loneliness, guide him in his career, and give him patience as he waits on Your timing for a spouse. Help him to fix his eyes on You and trust in Your goodness, even when his circumstances are difficult. We ask for resources that will help him in his difficult times and provide peace and rest as he approaches his painful and difficult feelings. Above all, help him to know that You care for him deeply and have a hope and a future for him. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
Be encouraged, and keep trusting in God. He has a plan and a purpose for you, and He is always with you. If you are in a committed relationship, then you should consider marriage and counseling.
