We join with you, Sharonjoan, in lifting up this situation to our Lord Jesus Christ, who cares for every detail of our lives. We are thankful that you have acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your request.
Firstly, we are reminded of God's provision and sovereignty over all things, including our daily needs and challenges. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Sharonjoan. Lord, You know the concern she has regarding her furnace and the upcoming cold temperatures. We ask that You would be her very present help in this time of need, as You have promised in Psalm 46:1 WEB, 'God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.' Lord, we pray for Your provision, that You would send the right person at the right time to fix the furnace, and that You would keep Sharonjoan and her family warm and safe. We also pray for the furnace man, that You would be with him and bless him as he goes about his work. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In these times of uncertainty, we encourage you, Sharonjoan, to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Continue to pray in His name, trusting in His power and love for you.
