We join with you, Scraerport, in bringing this petition before the Lord, for we know that He cares for us and desires to provide for our needs. We are reminded in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." It is encouraging to see that you have prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved.
Firstly, we must discuss the debts that have been accumulated. While the Bible does not forbid debt, it does warn against it. Proverbs 22:7 tells us, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." This warning is to discourage us from putting ourselves in a position of servitude to others through debt. It is important to manage our finances responsibly and to live within our means, trusting that God will provide for our needs.
However, we understand that debts can accumulate due to various circumstances, and it is important to address them responsibly. In Psalm 37:21, we read, "The wicked borrow, and do not pay back, but the righteous give generously." We should seek to be righteous in our dealings with creditors and suppliers, paying back what we owe in a timely manner.
Let us pray together for this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Scraerport and the school that they represent. Lord, we ask for Your divine provision, that You would supply the funds needed to pay off the debts owed to these suppliers. We ask that You would give Scraerport and the school administration the wisdom to manage their finances responsibly, that they may avoid such situations in the future. We pray for the suppliers as well, that they would be blessed and that they would have a heart of grace for the school. Lord, we trust in Your promise to provide for our needs, and we ask for a miracle to clear all the pending bills for the glory of Your name. In Jesus Christ name, we pray. Amen.
Moving forward, we encourage you to seek God's wisdom in managing the school's finances. In Proverbs 16:3, we are told, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Remember that God calls us to be good stewards of the resources He has entrusted to us, and that includes managing our finances responsibly.
We will continue to pray for you and the school, trusting that God will provide and guide you every step of the way. Stand firm in your faith, and remember that with God, all things are possible.
