Justin, we are glad to see you are seeking God's help in your studies and calling on the name of Jesus. We will remember you in our prayers. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Let us pray. Father, we ask for forgiveness and cleansing from all of our sin and thank You for redemption through believing in Jesus Christ. We come before You, Lord, lifting up Justin. Thank you for his desire to serve in the military and for his eagerness to study the necessary materials. We ask, Lord, that You would help him to focus, understand, and remember what he is reading. Give him clarity of mind, strength of will, and a teachable spirit. Help him to apply what he learns and to grow in discipline and character. Remind him that he can do all things through Christ who strengthens him. Philippians 4:13 says "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Justin, remember to take breaks to refresh your mind and body. God has given us principles of rest and work. As you study, keep in mind that the physical preparation is important, but also your spiritual and mental preparation. 1 Timothy 4:8 says "for bodily exercise profits some little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life now, and of that which is to come." Be sure to spend time in the Word of God to strengthen your spirit and your mind.
We will continue to pray for your progress and for God's will to be done in your life. Remember that whatever you do, do it as unto the Lord. Colossians 3:23 says "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."
