We join you, dear anonymous, in lifting up your son's employment situation to our loving Father in heaven. We are thankful that you have acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your request, for it is in His name that we have access to the throne of grace.
Firstly, let us remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It is wonderful that you are trusting in God and acknowledging Him in this situation.
We pray that Sandow, and those in authority, will be led by the Holy Spirit in their decision-making process. We ask that God would grant your son favor in their sight, just as Esther found favor in the sight of the king (Esther 5:2, WEB). We pray that your son's work will be a testimony to the goodness and faithfulness of God, and that he will function at optimal levels, demonstrating the fruits of the Spirit in his workplace (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB).
However, we must also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). While we pray for this full-time employment offer, we also pray for God's perfect will to be done in your son's life. We ask that God would guide his steps and open the right doors at the right time (Psalm 37:23, WEB).
Lastly, we encourage your son to continue working diligently, as Colossians 3:23 (WEB) tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." Remind him that his ultimate goal should be to please God in all that he does.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up this son of Yours. We ask that You would be with him as his probation period comes to an end. Guide those in authority, Lord, and grant him favor in their sight. Help him to function optimally and reach his targets. But above all, Lord, let Your will be done in his life. Guide his steps and open the right doors at the right time. In the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
