Let us first come to 1 John 5:14-15, And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
Naloaver, we appreciate your faith in the power of prayer, but let us come to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)
However, it's crucial to align our desires with God's will. Often, our hearts may lead us astray, as Jeremiah 17:9 tells us, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?" Therefore, we should pray that God's will be done in our lives, as Jesus taught us in the Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6:10). We need to be in a relationship with Jesus Christ. We must believe him and that he came to save his people from their sins.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Naloaver. We pray that Your will be done in their life, and that You align their desires with Yours. Help them not to fleshly desires, but to fix their eyes on You. Give them the strength to follow You. We pray that you will bring to their remembrance John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. We pray that they will confess their sins and believe in Jesus Christ for salvation. In Jesus' name.
