We understand your struggle with frustration and anxiety, especially under the weight of financial burdens and the pressures of work and school. We want to remind you of God’s promise in Philippians 4:6-7: “In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.”
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and that He may help you managing your finances, your daily bread, and our future provisions. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 10:4: “Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.” This reinforces the idea we need to put some effort in our lives to grow and be more Christ-like.
Regarding the temptations and anxiety you are experiencing being broke, feeling overwhelmed with anxiety, and eating food that is not good for you, we remind you of 1 Corinthians 10:13: “No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
We need to trust in God even in the face of worldly anxiety and temptations. We need to set the example for your students as a teacher, profess involvement in a local church, walk the straight and narrow path, and steadfastly preach Jesus Christ, his life, his miracles, his death, his burial, his resurrection, and his payment of the penalty for our sins. But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith.
Our prayer for you today is:
