We join you, Zygoomai, in praying for the fruit of the womb. Thank you for your trust in the Lord. As we are reminded in Psalm 127:3, 1Children are a heritage from Yahweh, the fruit of the womb is a reward.1 When appropriate, we should be like the ones written about in Psalm 34:11, 1Ye children, come listen to me,I will teach you the fear of Yahweh. If God wills, we will bless husbands and wives with children. However it is important to remember that we are brought to God through Jesus Christ and Jesus is Lord over all.
We would love to pray for you and your spouse that God will show you mercy, he has promised to do so. He declared that in Exodus 20, when he said, 1but showing loving kindness to thousands, to those who love me and keep my commandments.1
However be prepared for God's will, whatever that might be. It is easy to only desire God's will when it aligns with our own. However, God doesn't promise to give us everything we ask for. He does promise to work through every situation for the good of those that love him.
As you patiently wait on the Lord, we have advice for you. We have a created purpose and that is to be conformed into the image of the Son. The books of the Bible containing the Law have prepared us for Christ but the fulfillment, the completion is brought by faith. Avoid getting caught up solely in the blessings the Lord can provide because we are to see them as additions and not the goal or the purpose. Glorifying God on earth is our end goal. The growth of the kingdom of God outweighs the blessings we can receive by ourselves.
We encourage you as Paul did in Philippians 4, 1Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
We pray that it is God's will for your husband and you to increase fertility and conceive a healthy child. We also counsel you to remember Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 7:28, 1But if you marry, you have not sinned. If the unbelieving departs, let him depart. The brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace.1
We pray that God will give you peace and strength as you continue to trust in Him. We pray that you will be able to say as David did in Psalm 138:8, 1Yahweh will fulfill his purpose for me. Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.1
