I prayed for this in Jesus Name.
We understand your heart's deep desire for the fruit of the womb, Etharulya, and we stand with you in prayer as you approach your 8th marriage anniversary. We believe that children are a heritage from the Lord, and we trust in His perfect timing and will for your life.
Let us first hold fast to the promises of God, as it is written in Psalm 113:9, "He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the LORD!" We serve a God who can open wombs and bless us with children, just as He did for Sarah, Hannah, and Elizabeth.
However, we want to gently remind you that God's will is not always aligned with our specific desires. While you long for twin boys, let us pray for God's will to be done in your life and trust that He knows what is best for you. Remember the words of Isaiah 55:8-9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," says the LORD. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
We also want to encourage you to seek God together with your husband, as a united cord of three is not quickly broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12). Let this journey strengthen your marriage and draw you both closer to Jesus Christ.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Etharulya and her husband as they long for the fruit of the womb. Lord, You know the deepest desires of their hearts, and we trust that You have a perfect plan for their lives. We ask, in the name of Jesus Christ, that You show them mercy and grant them the gift of children, according to Your will.
Lord, we pray for Etharulya's faith to be strengthened, and for her hope to be steadfast, knowing that Your timing is perfect. Help her to trust in You and to rest in Your love. We also pray for her husband, that You would comfort and encourage him as well.
Lord, we thank You for the gift of marriage, and we ask that You continue to bless and protect Etharulya and her husband's union. Help them to grow closer to each other and to You, as they journey through life together.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
