Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brothers and sisters in Gaza who are facing the intensifying conflict and the possibility of death. We pray for their safety and protection, Lord, that you would surround them with your divine shield and keep them from harm.
We thank you for the growing intentionality among believers in Gaza to share the gospel with their friends and families. We pray for boldness and courage to proclaim your truth amidst the chaos and uncertainty. May their testimonies shine brightly and draw many hearts to you, Lord.
We also lift up the Israeli soldier who recently gave his life to you and was baptized before being called to active military service. We pray for your continued guidance and protection over him, Lord, as he serves his country. May his testimony be a light in the midst of the darkness, and may many others come to know you through his example.
We rejoice in the reports of Christians from Jewish and Arab backgrounds coming together in unity. We pray for a deepening of these relationships, Lord, that they may be a powerful witness to the world of your love and reconciliation. Help them to be a people of hope, anchored in Christ, even in the midst of hopelessness.
Lord, we know that hope is only true and lasting when it is found in you. We pray that you would fill the hearts of all those affected by the conflict in Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank with a hope that surpasses understanding. May they find solace and strength in your presence, knowing that you are with them in every moment.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who is our ultimate source of hope and peace. Amen.
