Front-line workers shared how God is moving in Israel, including Gaza and the West Bank, amid the conflict raging throughout the region. One Christian leader said, “Please pray for believers inside of Gaza. As the conflict intensifies, and the possibilities of death increase, there is a growing intentionality to share the gospel with friends and families. We have heard testimonies of those living in shelters because their homes have been damaged and are sharing boldly — and there seems to be an openness.” Another ministry leader reported that an Israeli soldier gave his life to the Lord and was baptized shortly before being called to active military service. There have also been reports of Christians from a Jewish background meeting with Christian Arabs and Palestinians. “These days, we must be a people of hope in the midst of so much hopelessness. And hope is only a wish if it is not hope in Christ,” a front-line worker said.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brothers and sisters in Gaza who are facing the intensifying conflict and the possibility of death. We pray for their safety and protection, Lord, that you would surround them with your divine shield and keep them from harm.

We thank you for the growing intentionality among believers in Gaza to share the gospel with their friends and families. We pray for boldness and courage to proclaim your truth amidst the chaos and uncertainty. May their testimonies shine brightly and draw many hearts to you, Lord.

We also lift up the Israeli soldier who recently gave his life to you and was baptized before being called to active military service. We pray for your continued guidance and protection over him, Lord, as he serves his country. May his testimony be a light in the midst of the darkness, and may many others come to know you through his example.

We rejoice in the reports of Christians from Jewish and Arab backgrounds coming together in unity. We pray for a deepening of these relationships, Lord, that they may be a powerful witness to the world of your love and reconciliation. Help them to be a people of hope, anchored in Christ, even in the midst of hopelessness.

Lord, we know that hope is only true and lasting when it is found in you. We pray that you would fill the hearts of all those affected by the conflict in Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank with a hope that surpasses understanding. May they find solace and strength in your presence, knowing that you are with them in every moment.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who is our ultimate source of hope and peace. Amen.
