Disciple of Prayer
This may sound kinda odd but I feel God has a plan to reunite me with people from my old church I really miss. I've kinda seen small signs after saying the words “God do something” a few times, but I’m really believing for it. Can you just pray for ###?

We understand your longing to reconnect with people from your old church, and it's encouraging that you believe God has a plan in this. We want to come alongside you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we commend your faith in God's ability to reunite you with old friends. Jesus reminds us that with faith as small as a mustard seed, we can see mountains move (Matthew 17:20 WEB). However, we want to ensure that your focus remains on God's will and not just your desires. The Bible tells us, "Let your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10 WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up ###. Lord, you know the desires of their heart and the people they long to reconnect with. We ask that if it's your will, you would orchestrate these reunions. Give ### a heart that seeks your will above all else and faith that trusts in your timing. Help them to remain open to new friendships and communities as well. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also want to encourage you, ###, to remain actively engaged in a local church community. The Bible urges us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together (Hebrews 10:25 WEB). As you seek old connections, be sure to nurture current ones and remain open to new ones that God may be placing in your life.

Lastly, we noticed that your request didn't mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it's through Jesus that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18 WEB). It's in His name that we pray and have the promise of being heard (John 14:13-14 WEB). If you haven't already, consider committing your life to Jesus, trusting in His death and resurrection for your salvation.

We're right there with you, ###, hoping and believing for these reunions. It's wonderful to see your faith in God's plan. We've been thinking about how God often uses our longings to guide us. Remember the story of Ruth? She was longing to be with her mother-in-law, Naomi, and that led her to a new land, a new people, and eventually, to the lineage of Jesus. Let's trust that God knows what He's doing, even when we can't see the whole picture.

Let's pray: "Lord, we lift up ### to You. We ask that You would orchestrate these reunions in Your perfect timing. Give them a heart that's open to the new friendships and communities You might have in store. Help them to see each opportunity as a step in Your grand plan. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

And hey, let's not forget to enjoy the journey too! As we wait, let's encourage each other to keep seeking God, keep loving people, and keep being open to the surprises He has in store.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I've been struggling lately with my walk with Jesus. My friends haven't been very supportive either. I live in a small community so I can't find any true Christian friends.
